Hi, I'm Jo

I built the program I wish I had.

After my first baby, I didn't have a gym, a trainer, or a plan. I had a few minutes a day, an exercise mat, and a decision to keep showing up for myself, even imperfectly.

It took three pregnancies to fully understand it. I didn't lose the weight fast, and I stopped trying to. I came back to the same four things every time: strength training at home, taking my steps, eating in a way that supported my body, and practicing consistency even when nothing felt like it was working yet.

Those four things became the STEP Method, and they moved the needle every single time. What worked for me became something thousands of women needed too, so I built growwithjo: built for real life, not perfect conditions.

The exercise mat

I started working out at home on a mat in my living room. No gym, no fitness background, just a decision to show up for myself.

The first baby

I gained weight and needed a realistic way to lose it. Starting from zero with a beginner's mindset, I began sharing more of my story, including pregnancy, and took a broader approach to health so I could help more women.

The community

Ready to refine my approach, I launched the growwithjo app with easy, efficient workouts. The app and Instagram became a place to gather and grow together, with more than workouts: nutrition, mental and social health.

In-person gatherings, more babies, and live workouts and accountability calls. A community of 13,000 women, all showing up for themselves, together.

The exact four steps I used to lose weight after each of my three pregnancies. A sustainable approach I could actually stick to, even on the hardest days, built into every program inside the app.
